How to defeat Matriarch Benezia in mass effect?

I’m on the final part of the battle between me and Matriarch Benezia, but i cant get past it, i can kill her but then the Asari soldiers kill me. I have tried looking on IGN and other various walkthroughs. I was wondering if you could tell me how to get past this part of the game. Thanks.
the thing is if i move the asari finish me off and i dont have any grenades

Well, the problem is, your doing it wrong.As soon as the diolauge ends attack her, dont move your position though just chuck grenades, and repeatavly shoot. After your break her sheild go right imidiantly, from the stairs if you were looking directly at her. You should see her asari commando’s coming. Hold them off here by where theyre should be 3 boxes. Kill the asari and go back to the Matriarch and fnish her off. A few shotty rounds should do it or what ever you prefer. Good luck!
